Privacy
What we keep.
Sand Terrace Ltd. is the controller of the stay notes we actually keep. This website does not run a booking database.
The controller is Sand Terrace Ltd. (סאנד טרס בע״מ), company 516284734, 10 HaZayit Street, Even Yehuda 4050256, Israel. Write to stay@pawstay.pro or call the desk on 09-766-3148 during desk hours. This notice is under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment No. 13, which came into force on 14 August 2025.
This website
The pages are files. The reserve form runs in your browser. It does not post your details to a server of ours. If you send the note, your device opens WhatsApp, and the message goes to our WhatsApp number. WhatsApp is operated by Meta. Their terms apply to that transmission. We then have the message you chose to send.
We do not run analytics, advertising cookies, or an account system. The only cookie we set ourselves is described on the cookie note, and only after you accept or reject. If a hosting company serves these files, it may keep ordinary connection logs, such as an IP address and the page requested, under that company’s own policy. We do not add a tracker to those logs.
If you write to us
From a request we may keep your name, phone number, email if you gave one, neighbourhood, the animal’s name, whether the guest is a dog or a cat, the size or weight you gave, the dates, and the feeding note you wrote. We use that to answer you, to run a stay we have confirmed, to serve the food you sent at the hours you wrote, and to issue a tax invoice.
The reason is the request you made, which is a step toward a contract, and the need to keep a tax record of money we receive. The cookie choice, if you make one, is stored because you asked us to remember it.
Please do not write a medical history into the note. The vaccine booklet is shown at the desk. We do not upload it to this website, and we do not want diagnoses, medicines, or clinic records in a WhatsApp message. If the animal needs a clinic, say that in a sentence so we can refuse the stay. We are not a clinic.
A request that does not become a stay is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Invoices and the stay note that belongs with them are kept for seven years, for tax. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to a mailing house.
Amendment 13
Amendment No. 13, in force on 14 August 2025, narrowed the old duty to register almost every database. Registration remained, in outline, for databases of public bodies and for databases kept in order to trade in personal data. A small boarding house that keeps stay notes in order to perform the stay, and does not sell those notes, is not in those remaining categories. Not being registered is not the end of the duty. Purpose, security, and your right to see and correct what we hold still apply, and we treat them as applying.
We have not appointed a data protection officer. The amendment requires one for public bodies, for those who must register, and for certain bodies whose main work is sensitive monitoring. This house is none of those. You may still write to the desk with any privacy question. The address above is the address for that.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, and ask for deletion where the law allows it, including where we no longer need the note and no tax rule requires us to keep the invoice. You may complain to the Privacy Protection Authority. Nothing on this page limits a right the statute gives you, including compensation the law allows for certain breaches.
The site is written for adult owners. We do not knowingly keep a child’s details. If you believe we have a message from a minor, tell us and we will delete it unless a tax invoice must be kept.
