03 — Day
Home by evening.
A day visit ends the same day. The first night, if there is one later, waits until this day has gone well.
Sunday to Thursday, a day visit runs from 10:00 to 17:30. On Friday it ends at 13:00, with the desk. There is no day visit on Saturday, and none on the first or seventh day of Passover, because the desk is quiet and there is no one to receive the animal or hand it back. The animals who are already staying the night are still fed and, if they are dogs, still taken out.
The day is deliberately small. A dog rests, drinks, and may spend a while in the courtyard with one or two calm others. A cat stays in a room with a window. We do not run a long play session, and we do not promise that every animal will want company. If yours does not, the day is still a fair day: a bed, water, and the food you sent, served when you asked.
A trial day uses this same rate and these same hours. It is required before the first overnight stay. It is a day of watching how the animal settles in a strange room, nothing more. We are not a clinic, and the day is not an examination. If the animal is frightened or will not eat the food you sent, we tell you, and we do not go on to a night.
You collect the animal the same day. Send enough of your own food for the meals that fall inside the hours, labelled with the animal’s name. Water is the house’s.
The day rate
Figures include VAT at 18 percent. In Passover week, and through August, the day is a quarter more. In 2026 that week is 1–8 April, except that 2 April and 8 April are quiet at the desk, so a day visit is not offered on them.
